Thanks to Lochgelly Golf Club for hosting the Commonwealth Spoons, foursomes strokeplay event on 16th May. The course was in good condition, the sun made an appearance and I am told that those who played in the morning enjoyed some fabulous food! Thanks also to Mary Davenport for writing out the paper cards that we gave to players as a back up but it was very pleasing to see all players managing to score this event on the APP, so thanks again to everyone for playing their part in learning the new system.
The course set-up was tricky and scoring was a little challenging but there still ended up a tight leaderboard! Congratulations to the winners Ruth Kinnell and Linda Watson, who used their local knowledge to good advantage and will represent Fife County in the final once more - here's hoping they can defend that title too!!
