It's been an exciting weekend of golf on the Jubilee course in St Andrews, the wind blew yesterday, and there was a sprinkling of rain, but the standard of golf shone! We even had a hole in one...

This afternoon saw Elaine Moffat take on Gillian Paton, which was an incredibly tight game and went all the way to the 18th, with the match all square through 17. Elaine played a superb chip to gimme distance, which Gillian couldn't unfortunately match and clinched the 2024 Championship title.
In the handicap final, Ruth Kinnell took on Sue Nicholson which was another good match for our hardy spectators. Ruth successfully wrapped up the match on the 16th with a 3&2 victory.
Not only did Elaine Moffat win the Championship, she had a hole in one on the 5th hole in her first match. Congratulations Elaine!
