After a very close match at the Eden course at St Andrews, Lochgelly came out on top against Aberdour in the final of the winter league. Through 17 holes the game was all square, with both teams having been up at some stage, the title was eventually clinched in Lochgelly's favour on the 18th green, when Ruth Kinnell sunk a lengthy putt.
